CRITICAL NOTICE FOR ALL USERS — EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 20, 2026

1. NOT AN EMERGENCY 911 / 112 DISPATCH SERVICE

Nirvoyo is a private peer-to-peer mobile utility. Nirvoyo DOES NOT contact the police, ambulance, fire department, paramedic, or public emergency services on your behalf, and does not operate a monitored emergency response call center or dispatch facility.

2. CALL MUNICIPAL EMERGENCY SERVICES FIRST

IF YOU ARE IN IMMEDIATE DANGER, FACING A PHYSICAL THREAT, A CRIME, AN ASSAULT, A TRAFFIC COLLISION, OR A MEDICAL CRISIS: IMMEDIATELY CALL YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES (911, 112, 999, 100, 108, OR YOUR LOCAL REGIONAL EMERGENCY NUMBER) DIRECTLY VIA YOUR TELEPHONE. DO NOT RELY ON AN APP NOTIFICATION TO RESOLVE AN ACTIVE PHYSICAL CRISIS.

3. Peer-to-Peer Communication & Recipient Availability

Emergency SOS notifications, journey broadcasts, and response portal links sent through this app are delivered solely to the personal contacts you have designated ("Trusted Contacts"). Alert delivery does not guarantee that your contacts will hear, read, or respond to the notification, nor that they have the means, legal authority, medical training, or transportation to provide physical rescue.

4. Technical, Cellular & Battery Dependencies

Real-time location tracking and alert delivery depend completely on external factors outside software control:

  • Cellular Network Coverage: Transmission cannot occur in underground structures, basements, tunnels, or offline cellular dead zones.
  • Device Battery Power: Alerts cannot be generated or received if device batteries are depleted or enter extreme battery-saver mode.
  • OS Permissions: Location permissions and active foreground notification execution must remain enabled for continuous journey protection.
  • Satellite Reception: GPS signals may be obstructed or degraded indoors, underground, or in heavy urban foliage and skyscraper canyons.
  • Push Services: Delivery relies on third-party cloud push networks (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, Resend, Twilio) which may experience latency or outages.

5. Complete Developer Non-Liability & Assumption of Risk

The developers, creators, maintainers, contributors, and distributors of Nirvoyo ASSUME ZERO LEGAL LIABILITY for any physical harm, bodily injury, death, assault, theft, loss, trauma, psychological injury, medical complication, or property damage that may occur while using this app or any compatible wearable device. You voluntarily assume 100% of all risks associated with your travel, personal safety, and use of this technology.
