On Android, an SOS can ring on her chosen people’s phones, with a full-screen alert when allowed — even while locked. Her own phone can stay silent.

Alerts depend on connectivity, permissions and phone settings. Nirvoyo doesn’t contact emergency services.

NIRVOYO TERMS OF SERVICE Last Updated: October 17, 2026 1. Auxiliary Peer-to-Peer Service — NOT an Emergency Dispatch Service: Nirvoyo is a mobile and wearable communication utility designed exclusively for voluntary peer-to-peer location broadcasting and notification dispatch to designated personal contacts. THE SERVICE IS NOT A 911 / 112 / 999 PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCH SYSTEM AND DOES NOT DISPATCH POLICE, FIRE, AMBULANCE, OR EMERGENCY SERVICES. IN ANY THREATENING OR MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY AUTHORITIES DIRECTLY. 2. Acceptable Use & Anti-Stalking Policy (Zero Tolerance): Nirvoyo strictly forbids any covert, non-consensual surveillance, stalkerware, or spyware use. You shall NEVER install Nirvoyo on any device without the lawful user's explicit consent, nor track any person without their ongoing consent. Any violation results in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement. 3. Absolute Voluntary Assumption of 100% of All Risks: You expressly, voluntarily, and knowingly assume all risks associated with your personal safety, commutes, movements, travel, and activities. Software algorithms and electronic devices cannot prevent crime, violence, assault, or bodily harm. 4. No Special Relationship & No Duty of Care: The Developer Parties owe no legal duty of care, guardianship, protective obligation, or fiduciary duty to you, your Trusted Contacts, or any third party. 5. Total Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS" & "AS AVAILABLE"): TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED STRICTLY "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". THE DEVELOPER PARTIES DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF GPS COORDINATES, OR TIMELY TRANSMISSION OF EMERGENCY SOS NOTIFICATIONS. 6. Complete Developer & Company Immunity Shield — Zero Liability: UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY SHALL THE DEVELOPERS, AUTHORS, OWNERS, MAINTAINERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DEMAND, INJURY, BODILY HARM, ATTACK, ASSAULT, BATTERY, ABDUCTION, ROBBERY, THEFT, TRAUMA, PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURY, MEDICAL CRISIS, LOSS OF LIFE, WRONGFUL DEATH, ACCIDENT, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP OR CONNECTED ACCESSORIES. 7. Strict Liability Cap & Indemnification: Any aggregate liability of Developer Parties shall be strictly capped at the greater of the amount paid by you in the past 12 months (USD $0.00 for free tier) or USD $10.00 / INR ₹100.00. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold completely harmless the Developer Parties from all claims, fines, and expenses arising from your use or violation of these terms. 8. Binding Individual Arbitration & Class Action Waiver: All disputes shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration. You waive all rights to participate in class actions or representative proceedings. Claims must be brought within one (1) year.

How Nirvoyo handles account, safety and location information.

NIRVOYO PRIVACY POLICY Last Updated: October 20, 2026 1. Zero Data Commoditization: We DO NOT sell, rent, monetize, or lease your personal information or location coordinates to any data brokers, marketers, or third-party advertisers. 2. Prominent Background Location Disclosure (Google Play Compliant): Nirvoyo accesses location data in the background (even when the App is closed, not in use, or screen is off) strictly during active safety sessions via a visible Foreground Service with an ongoing notification. This enables authorized Trusted Contacts to view your live journey trace and ensures emergency SOS alerts dispatch your exact coordinates. Background tracking ceases immediately when the session ends. 3. Information We Collect: • Account details: Name, email address, password hash, and optional phone number. • Real-Time Location: Precise coordinates (latitude, longitude, speed, altitude, bearing). • Sensor & Telemetry: Battery percentage, network health, movement activity cadence, and companion BLE accessory state. • Incident logs: Timestamp, triggered alert type, battery level, and coordinates at moment of SOS trigger. 4. Purpose of Processing & Subprocessors: Data is processed strictly for user-initiated peer-to-peer sharing with authorized trusted contacts, emergency alert delivery, and device pairing. Technical providers include Google/Firebase (auth and push), Map providers (tiles), Resend (password recovery), and Twilio (optional crash SMS). 5. Encryption & Retention: All communications use HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or newer) with HSTS. Data on devices is stored in private app storage. Location, route and movement history from safety monitoring is kept for 30 days, then deleted automatically; SOS location and evidence are kept for 30 days after the SOS ends. Encrypted backups expire within 35 days. History-sharing settings control contacts’ access. You can delete your account instantly in App Settings, or submit a verified request through our account deletion page. Early-access emails must be confirmed within 7 days, and are kept only until launch updates end or you leave the list (every email has a link). TELECOMMUNICATIONS & BATTERY DEPENDENCIES: Transmission depends completely on cellular signal, device battery power, operating system background execution permissions, and GPS satellite visibility. 5. COMPLETE DEVELOPER NON-LIABILITY: The developers, creators, maintainers, contributors, and distributors bear zero legal liability for any bodily injury, harm, theft, assault, loss of life, or damage occurring in connection with using Nirvoyo. You voluntarily assume 100% of all personal safety risks.
